Description Raychem Corporation T3725-2-3 Heat-Shrink Tubing, c. 1980s-1990s. Black 1" diameter plastic heat-shrink tubing produced by the Raychem Corporation. The tubing was designed to cover a splice on a cable that ranged in size from number 6 to number 2 AWG (American Wire Gauge) or 16-35 mm ². Raychemer Jim Thompson notes that this piece of tubing might have thermoplastic adhesive on the interior that would seal the splice on either end of the cable when heated, and that in the acronym WCSM, "CSM" stands for cable sleeve metric.
