Description Asymmetrical-brimmed Cloche, c. 1930s-1990s. The Halle Bros. Co. pink felt ladies hat has a dome-shaped crown with an asymmetrical brim that is 2.5" on the proper right and 3.875" on the proper left. A folded pink ribbed ribbon forms a band just above the brim that ends on the proper right with a bow secured by a fabric-wrapped button. Edges of bow are frayed. A pink 1" ribbon is sewn to interior between brim and crown.

Notes "The Halle Brothers Co. (1891–1982) was considered the leading department store company in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded on 7 February 1891 by brothers Samuel Horatio Halle and Salmon Portland Chase Halle." After 91 years of opperation Halles was sold and then liquidated in the early 1980s.
