Description John Deere disk plow. Solid iron sulky (seated) disk plow has three wheels: one on left and two on either side of blade on right. Beam out front is solid iron with a serpentine shape and a metal harness in front. Seat is spade-shaped with two rows of oval-shaped perforations along outside edge. Blade is a large round disk with a smaller blade in front top center of it for pushing dirt back down to form rows. Tall lever just right of seat has a clamp at tapered handle that is attached to a rod, and a spring on the other side and moving notched piece at bottom that slides into one of the many notches of the stationary notched disk just left bottom of lever and is used for making adjustments to blade. Two smaller similar lever, without springs, extend toward seat from front wheels and are used to make wheel height adjustments.
