Description Pillow, c. 1941-1945. Part of Block Warden's first aid kit used during World War II by Gladys M. Browning of Burlingame, CA. Rectangular pillow constructed with different fabric on each side. One side shows a design of green stripes alternating with cream stripes containing yellow and pink floral decoration. The other side has a pattern with solid yellow stripes flanking a yellow stripe with a branch motif. This group alternates with a group of stripes that has blue and green floral decoration on a white background that is framed by pink scallops on a blue background. One side of the pillow is hand stitched.
