Description Plaque commemorating Sammy Reynoso of Sequoia High School being inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 22, 2006. Plaque includes image of Reynoso and a brief biography: "It would not be hyperbole to suggest that Sammy Reynoso rolled his way to fame and fortune. / As a rodeo performer and rodeo clown, he spent the prime of his life entertaining rodeo fans throughout the Far West and beyond. And it all began at Sequoia High School where he was a tough runner and defensive back in the early 1940's. Reynoso, who began his rodeo career while in high school, performed until 1959. His career embraced more than 300 rodeo shows. His careful axiom was: 'Four legs can always outrun two.'"
