Description Oil painting of early Pescadero as it looked in 1860. Transferred from disintegrating old board to masonite panel in December of 1964. Panel is mounted inside a raised brown wooden frame with a gold-painted inner border. Image depicts sections of land with a creek and buildings, including a church, toward the center and far right. There is a figure on a horse in hills in the foreground. More hills and possibly sea in the background. The top two thirds of the paining is nothing but pink and blue sky.
