Description Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Arron Oberholser of San Mateo High School who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 19, 2008. Plaque includes image of Oberholser and a brief biography: "When he first began his golfing career, Arron Oberholser wanted to be a big hitter. It took time and a lot of seasoning to temper that enthusiasm for the long ball. The result has been success on the PGA Tour. In 2007 the former Bearcat recorded five top-10 finishes. In 2006, he won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro Am championship. At San Jose State University, he was a two-time All-American, finishing in the top 10 24 times in 48 collegiate tournaments, winning eight of them."
