Description Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Maureen Brady of Hillsdale High School who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 9, 1999. Plaque includes image of Brady and a brief biography: "Maureen Brady set the standard for San Mateo County softball pitchers. The Hillsdale High School phenom compiled a state-best 111-10 career record at the San Mateo school from 1988-91. She tossed 69 shutouts and had 29 no-hitters and 14 perfect games. Her teams won two Central Coast Section titles. Later, at Fresno State University, she became an All American. She led the U.S. in wins with 36 in her junior year. In her final season at FSU, she was named the school's Athlete of the Year."
