Description Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Mike Garcia of Woodside High School and Canada College. who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on May 19, 1992. Plaque includes image of Garcia and a brief biography: "You can go home again. Mike Garcia, a one-time baseball star at Woodside High School and Canada College, is living proof of that. Garcia, after helping to lead Cal-State Fullerton to the College World Series title in 1979 and playing minor league baseball in the Atlanta Braves' organization, returned to Canada as its head baseball coach. In 18 seasons there, he posted a 451-220 record. He is a member of the California Community College Baseball Coaches Hall of Fame."
