Description Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Pete Pontacq of Skyline College who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 7, 2000. Plaque includes image of Pontacq and a brief biography: "Pete Pontacq has amassed a basketball coaching record that places him in the top echelon in California community college circles. Through the 1999-2000 season, Pontacq's Skyline College teams won 446 games and lost 147. His 1982 team won a state championship. His 1981 team wound up second in the state. In Coast Conference play, his ballclubs won 247 games and lost 33. They have captured 14 championships during Pontacq's tenure at the San Bruno two-year institution."
