Description Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Deanna Earsley of Carlmont High School who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 3, 1998. Plaque includes image of Earsley and a brief biography: "DeAnna Earsley, a graduate of Carlmont High School in Belmont, was a standout softball player from the start. Tall and athletic, she was a daunting presence on the mound and at the plate. An unprecedented three-time San Mateo County softball player of the year, she led the Scots to a Central Coast Section championship in 1989, posting a 24-3 record, with 253 strikeouts and an 0.18 ERA in 157 innings. At Utah State University, she became an all-American and Big West pitcher of the year."
