Description John Deer Two Row Two Horse-drawn Corn Seeder is made of wood and metal. Horse tree in front is wood painted yellow attached to iron parts painted green. Back iron seat and wheels are painted yellow. Wheels have double rims with single spoke between them. All other parts are green-painted metal. In front of the wheels are two blades for creating grooves in the earth. Above them are two metal buckets made of steel for holding corn seed. Rotors at buckets' base spin to release corn for planting. There is a spring-loaded lever in front of seat for controlling seed disbursement. A yellow nylon rope is tied to front metal end of horse tree. Large canisters indicate that this seeder was used for planting corn or other plants with large seeds.
