Description Framed Portrait Drawing of Francisco "Chico" Gonzales, 1902. Black and white chalk drawing on tan paper of Francisco "Chico" Gonzales, son of the grantee to Rancho Pescadero, Juan Gonzales. The image shows an older man wearing a dark suit and vest, white button down shirt, and black bow tie. The man faces forward with his head turned slightly to his right, looking into the distance. The man has short salt and pepper hair that is combed over to the right side of his head. His mustache shows whiskers that extend down to his his jaw line on the sides. The pastel drawing is held in a wood frame that has smooth outer edges and dimensional floral and geometric motifs on the interior edge.
