Description WWI Clothing Roll, 1918. Large clothing roll used in WWI. Tan canvas roll with leather handle attached at top with copper rivets. Metal grommets on outside and inside where the leather goes through the canvas and one grommet missing on inside. Canvas sewn around wooden pole at top, for structural support. Has multiple tan flaps with tan straps and green ties. Metal rings and hooks hold canvas flap at center. Bottom third of canvas has series of pockets with metal grommets and cloth green ties. Outer side of roll has canvas pocket at top secured by canvas straps and metal buckle.
