Description Plaque commemorating Andy Banachowski of Serra High School being inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 10, 2003. Plaque includes image of Banachowski and a brief biography: "As the winningest women's collegiate volleyball coach in U.S. history, Andy Banachowski has set a standard of excellence. In 36 seasons as the UCLA women's head coach, his teams have amassed 939 victories. As a player and coach at UCLA, he has been part of 12 national championships. A total of 43 of his Bruins have been All-Americans. He was an All-American volleyball player at UCLA. He has been named National Coach of the Year and Pac-10 Coach of the Year (four times)."
