Description Walter Moore Chief Deputy Sheriff Badge Collection, c. 1941-1960. Large black box frame lined with navy blue velvet containing at least 120 badges. Center badge is mounted on a plaque that says, "Walter Moore / in appreciation for services / 1941 - 1960" and "Mounted Patrol / San Mateo County" above and below a silver-colored Mounted Patrol badge. Outer frame has a black laquer finish.
