Plaque includes image of Radetich and a brief biography: "For a time in the late 1960's and early 1970's, John Radetich was a member of a very select club. He was a high-jumper with world-class talent. He soared over seven feet on countless occasions. At San Carlos High School, he was one of the very best in California in his specialty as a teen. Later, at Oregon State University, it was more of the same. He was a Pacific-8 champion. On the professional track and field tour, he set an indoor record of seven feet, six inches in Salt Lake City in 1976. His son, Scott, also high-jumped more than seven feet as a collegian at Linfield College."
