Description Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Robin Petrini of South San Francisco High School who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on June 10, 2003. Plaque includes image of Petrini and a brief biography: "Robin Petrini was a standout volleyball, basketball and baseball/softball player at South San Francisco High School in the late 1970s. Later, at Utah State, she was the starting shortstop on a team that won two national softball championships. After coaching for eight years at Northwestern, she became the head softball coach at Penn State in 1997. Entering the 2003 season, the Nittany Lions had won 185 games under Petrini's tutelage. She was the Big 10 Coach of the Year in 1999."
