Description Parianware Vase, 1860. Small porcelain vase with matte-white finish and decorative blue glaze. Oblong vase has flared base and bulbous body that is wider toward the top, tapering into a long narrow neck and flared, scalloped rim. Body of vase has embossed leaves and vines; two sculptured bunches of grapes are opposite each other on the vase shoulder, neck is decorated with vertical rows of blue dots, and both sides have a blue crest-shaped motif.
