A brief biography is also on the front: "A smooth, fluid scorer on the basketball court, Sid Williams became one of San Mateo County's most versatile and heralded hoops performers during the 1970s. He also was a quarterback for the Dons football team. His career at Aragon High was marked by a range of top honors, including All-Bay Area, All-Central Coast Section and All-Peninsula Athletic League for basketball. Later, he went on to San Jose State University where he again stood out. The Spartans' record book still contains some of his career marks, including points (1,095), field goals (485) and rebounds (510). In 1981, Sid tallied 32 points against Long Beach State. That same year, he was All-League and All-Tourney and was the MVP of that PCAA event. He was an All-American that year and played in the AIA Coaches All-American Game. He was a ninth round draft pick of the NBA Portland Trailblazers." The back of the plaque has an oval sticker with the logo and contact information for Spotlight Impressions, the manufacturer of the plaque.
