Description Dresser Scarf, n.d. Rectangular creme table scarf with tatted lace on three sides. The lace is only on the left, right, and top sides. The only decoration on the fabric is an inner border of hemstitching on each side that is a 0.25in in from the edge of the fabric panel. The tatted lace edging is attached to the curved edge only with hand stitching. The lace has a pattern of loops and circles.

Notes "Dresser scarves are a bit like doilies or table runners, serving much the same purpose -- providing decor as well as protection for bedroom furniture. These vintage fabrics are often quite ornate, featuring hand-sewn stitching, embroidery, crochet work or decorative threadwork used to embellish each piece. Even stained or damaged vintage dresser scarves can be repurposed into new, useful decor with slight modification." []
