Description Knitted Cylinder Piece, n.d. Pink loop of knitted fabric made on a knitting machine. The loop has a circumference of 40in. when laid flat the bottom and top are open and the width is 23in. The piece has stitches in lines traveling vertically. On the bottom edge of the fabric there are 2 horizontal lines of yellow fabric which incorporate gold, parallel to the bottom edge. The line on the edge is 3in. tall. Fallowing 1..125in of yellow knitting is another horizontal yellow and gold line approximately 1in. tall. Both of these lines continue onto around all sides of the piece.

Provenance One of three pieces of knitted material which shows some of the stitches that were created in the knitting factory.
