Description U.S. 48-star Flag, c. 1939. U.S. flag made of silk fabric with 48 white stars on blue and 13 red and white stripes. Top and bottom edges are selvage and the raw edges are hemmed with white thread. Leather triangles with white cord ties are attached to the top left and bottom left corners. A small sticker is attached to the back side of the bottom leather triangle and reads "All Pure Silk."
