Description WWII Ribbon Bar Pin, c. 1939-1944. Purple on left represents the Purple Heart given to those wounded in action. Right side has a red center with rainbows on either side (this one is not identified and is similar, though opposite to the Army unit ribbon bar; possibly represents those who served overseas). "V-21-N / VANGUARD" engraved on brapss pin on back.
