Description Rubbing Alcohol Bottle, c. 1920-1945. Part of Block Warden's first aid kit used during World War II by Gladys M. Browning of Burlingame, CA. Rectangular clear glass bottle tapers inward at the top where the opening is covered with a black plastic screw cap. A cloth label is adhered to the front at center and is printed with blue text that reads, "Rub. Alco." The other side of the bottle has measurement lines molded into the glass on both vertical sides. The right side has "cc" at the bottom with levels marked at "10" and "20" up the side. The left side is marked with "3" at the bottom followed by "2", "4", and "6" at top. A large "3" appears at top center with a small vertical line nearby at right. "ARISTOCRAT / 5" is molded into the bottom of the bottle.
