Description Wood and acrylic plaque commemorating Tony Plummer of Sequoia High School who was inducted into the San Mateo County Sports Hall of Fame on May 22, 1997. Plaque includes image of Plummer and a brief biography: "Tony Plummer was another in a long line of outstanding multi-sport athletes at Sequoia High in Redwood City in the 1950's and 1960's. But football was his specialty. He went on to the College of San Mateo, where he became a JC all-American. Later, at College of the Pacific, he emerged as a professional prospect in the defensive backfield. He went from COP to the NFL where he played for three teams in six seasons. He wound up his productive pro career with the Los Angeles Rams."
