Description Peninsula National Bank Exterior, Burlingame, 1964. Black and white negative shows the exterior of the Peninsula National Bank on the corner of Howard Avenue and Park Road in Burlingame, California. The entrance to the building appears in the foreground in three-quarter profile with a covered area supported by columns. The covered area leads to a set of glass doors and large windows. The sidewalk along Howard Avenue extends to the right, and the sidewalk for Park Road extends to the left. Duplicate signs are attached to the building façade facing both streets. Each side has a small sign with a graphic of a bell and “PNB” above a larger rectangular sign that reads, “PENINSULA NATIONAL / BANK.” An American flag is attached to the building at center left in the image facing Park Road.
