Description Redwood City's 4th of July Parade, 1966. Black and white negative of the City of Seaside float heading south on Broadway at the Redwood City 4th of July Parade. The float is covered in flowers and garlands and has a mission-like structure with arches and bells. A woman stands under the arches on the float and waves to the crowd. She wears a white dress and gloves. Below her is a man who wears what appears to be a cassock and holds a large stick. The float is pulled by a similarly decorated vehicle driven by two men. The dome of the San Mateo County Courthouse and the top of the Fox Theatre can be seen in the background. Part of a series.
