Description Aerial Photograph over Raychem Headquarters, January 3, 1967. Silver gelatin photograph shows an aerial view of the shoreline in Menlo Park over the area of Raychem Corporation headquarters. The San Francisco Bay is visible along the left half and top of the image. Raychem buildings are visible just below center right with the city of Menlo Park and East Palo Alto visible in the distance at upper right. The area of land between the Bayfront Expressway and the Bayshore Freeway is circled by hand with pink ballpoint pen, and Raychem buildings are inscribed "C", "B", and "A". "Air-Photo Co., Inc. " appears in the photograph at top center with "9609" at top left and "1-3-67" at top right. "PALO ALTO AIRPORT" appears in the margin at bottom left. "RAYCHEM CORP. / PHOTO DEPARTMENT / FILE #" is stamped at bottom left on the back of the photograph in red ink with the file number "168-6 A" handwritten in graphite. This photograph is part of a group of photos stored in a mailing envelope sent to Ms. Sue Norton at the Raychem Corporation from Mape Industries in Palo Alto. The envelope is postmarked December 17, 1975. The inscription on the mailing label reads, "MAPE INDUSTRIES / 2483 East Bayshore Suite 100, Palo Alto, Calif. 94303 / TO / Ms. Sue Norton / Raychem Corporation / 4040 Campbell Ave. / Menlo Park, California 94025."
