Description c. 1943 Belair Shipyard The Paint Dock. Black and white copyprint from the US National Archives Belair Shipyard Collection. Image depicts scaffolding around a large ship with a dirt road or field in the foreground. There is a stairway leading up the the top of the ship which is gray and white with black sections at the top. Workers in hard hats are standing at the topmost levels.
