Description "Assumed Traits" Roger Pyfer's First Win, November 30, 1989. This is a black and white official winner's photograph. There are six people standing next to the horse, one is holding the horse by its bridle and the rest are presumably the owners and trainers. The jockey is sitting on the horse wearing a light shiny jersey with large circles on the sleeves. The saddle has a number six on it in large white letters. Printed along the upper portion of the photograph are the winning horse's name, where the race was held, the date, the length of the race, the winning time, the jockey, trainer, name of the race, the owners and the second and third place horses. There is also a printed congratulations, "CONGRATULATION TO ROGER PYFER FOR HIS FIRST WIN". In blue ink there is three signatures. One of the signatures is Thomas Chapman's, the winning jockey.

Provenance These items were donated by Jim Kelly. They were owned by his brother-in-law, Mike Bancroft. Mike Bancroft placed winning bets for both racing schedules.
