Description Packing shed of the California Floral Co., Photograph, c. 1935-1945. This is a sepia photograph of the interior of the packing shed. It is a long open-structure with a wooden floor and wooden support beams in the center. Along the sides of the building are supplies and boxes. On the left wall is a sliding loading door and on the right wall is a white room that looks like it is cold storage for flowers. There are ten workers in the packing shed handling pieces of foliage. In the center there are white buckets with calla lillies, a large pile of foliage and in front of the pile is another pile of foliage or flowers wrapped in cellophane. The photograph is attached to black cardboard. From left to right are: Henry Decia, Virginia Decia, unidentified worker, unidentified worker, Alfred Decia, Homer, unidentified worker, Edna Rosetto, unidentified worker and unidentified worker.
