Description Ronald Reagan Speaking at College of San Mateo, 1966. Black and white negative of California Gubernatorial Candidate Ronald Reagan speaking at the College of San Mateo (CSM). Reagan, with his back to the camera, stands in front of a lectern in front of a large crowd that is facing the camera. At the foot of the stage in front of the spectators is a row of tables. Seated at the table are several people, possibly journalists or college administrators. There are two young boys underneath one of the tables to the left of the lectern. Several people in the crowd hold political signs and banners, one of which reads "REAGAN / FOR / GOVERNOR." In the background to the right is the college's library, a large building with intricate windows. Part of a series.
