Description President Dwight Eisenhower Arriving at SFO, 1960. Black and white negative of President Dwight Eisenhower arriving at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Eisenhower has descended the airstair and is extending his hand to be welcomed by Governor Edmund G. "Pat" Brown and two California National Guard officers. Behind the President, several men are descending the airstair, including a man in a fedora who is likely Secretary of State John Foster Dulles. With them are several guards and officers in military uniform.The plane, Air Force One, is silver and the open door has the Presidential Seal on it. The fuselage reads, "[U.]S. AIR FORC[E]."
