Description Black and white negative of women volunteers cleaning up a kitchen after serving the community at the opening of the Burlingame Community Center (now called the Burlingame Rec Center). There are twelve women, either wearing aprons, chef hats or both, poising for the photograph. Some women stand behind a table at left, and other are visible through and serving windows along the back of the room. There are cups, serving spoons, bowls and pots on the table and behind the windows. Two metal trash cans at lower left are filled with trash. Part of a series of 20.
