Description Photograph of Shuffleboard Court at Raychem Headquarters, c. 1957-1975. Silver gelatin photograph shows an outdoor area with three shuffleboard courts in front of office buildings. A single story building featuring rectangular brick columns, large windows, and a shingled roof appears behind the shuffleboard area at center left. A two-story building is visible in the distance at center right. A wide sidewalk appears in the distance at center right and extends into the foreground across the bottom of the page. At mid-ground, a landscaped area with short pine trees appears right of center in the image. Just beyond the cluster of trees is a patio area with benches. Two figures walk nearby this area along the sidewalk at center right. "RAYCHEM CORP. / PHOTO DEPARTMENT / FILE # 173-51B" is stamped in red ink at center on the back of the photograph. This photograph is part of a group of photos stored in a mailing envelope sent to Ms. Sue Norton at the Raychem Corporation from Mape Industries in Palo Alto. The envelope is postmarked December 17, 1975. The inscription on the mailing label reads, "MAPE INDUSTRIES / 2483 East Bayshore Suite 100, Palo Alto, Calif. 94303 / TO / Ms. Sue Norton / Raychem Corporation / 4040 Campbell Ave. / Menlo Park, California 94025."
