Untitled (Raychem Corporation Headquarters), August 4, 1966. Silver gelatin photograph shows the exterior of Building A at Raychem Corporation headquarters in Menlo Park, California. A field of grass appears in the foreground along the bottom of the image and fills the lower half of the image. A barbed wire fence appears just beyond the field at mid-ground extending into the center of the image from right. Small trees and shrubbery are planted on the far side of the fence. A large rectangular building extends from left to the right across the middle of the image in the distance. A three-dimensional sign with bold letting that reads "RAYCHEM" is attached to the building on the right side of the image with the Raychem "bug" insignia centered directly below the text. There are several parked cars in parking spaces in front of the building. Text handwritten in graphite on the back of the photograph at center reads "8/4/66 / #3."
Photographs 2015.015.001.81 - 2015.015.001.107 were originally stored in a Raychem inter-office envelope with an inscription written in graphite that read, "PHOTOS OF 300 CONSTITUTION DURING / CONSTRUCTION AND OCCUPANCY / 1966-1967 / FOR MUSEUM EXHIBIT." Additional text in black ink read "4/13/00" with an arrow pointing to the graphite inscription above.
