Description Erecting New Flag Pole at Burlingame City Hall on Park Road, June 1950. Black and white negative shows a new flag pole being erected at the Burlingame City Hall on Park Road. There are five workers standing at the base of the flagpole. Behind the workers, two people on bicycles watch the scene. A crane with metal tracks is mounted on a flat-bed truck, and the flagpole is attached to it with a rope. A worker is visible at the top of the crane, and another worker stands at the base of the crane on the flat-bed truck. The flagpole appears in front of City Hall on the left side of the image across from several cars parked on the street at right. Stores and shops appear in the background of the image.
