The worker is facing the camera. The machine looks like a lathe or a drill and there is a long rod nearby with a warning that reads, "HOT". There is a metal exhaust vent hanging above the worker. There are several other large machines and tools nearby including an extremely large machine that looks like a spool. The caption with the image reads "TUBULAR EXTRUSION (3 1/2") SET UP". There are calla lillies in white buckets to the left of the photograph and piles of foliage and cellophane bags. From left to right are: Virginia Decia, unidentified worker, Edna Rosetto, unidentified worker, Gerald Brown, Alfred Decia, Fritz, Oscar and Henry Decia (Alred's brother). The wall behind Henry Decia houses the steam room. Accaciz would be picked green and then go into the steam room to force-bloom before pakcing in cellophane bags to be shipped.
