The Magic Pellet, late 1960s. One 16mm color film with sound, approximately 500' and 11 minutes. The film features images of "Strange Change" toys in production. Raychem produced the small figurines for the Strange Change Machine toy set produced by Mattel in the late 1960s. By irradiating the plastic, the figurines retained a "shape memory." The figurines came as compressed "time capsules" that reverted back to their original shape (dinosaur, robot, insect, etc.) when heated.
