Lid is rectangular with rounded corners. Has a raised silver lip around the base. Smaller rectangle is debossed on top. In center of lid is a glass knob. Knob is cut glass with ten sides. Bulges at top and tapers to a narrow base. Is attached to lid with a screw which goes from top of knob through the lid.

In center of one long side is a filled in circle made with a series of small holes for ventilation. About one inch below the rim of the box is a raised ridge forming the lip on which the lid rests. Lid is rectangular with rounded corners. Has a raised silver lip around the base. Smaller rectangle is debossed on top. In center of lid is a glass knob. Knob is cut glass with ten sides. Bulges at top and tapers to a narrow base. Is attached to lid with a screw which goes from top of knob through the lid.
