Image of 2014.029.001 - Sport Coat Worn by Bing Crosby, c. 1959 - 1977. Plaid jacket predominately green with white yellow, purple, and black colors integrated into the pattern. Jacket has a wide collar.  Two gray buttons hold the jacket shut. On the right towards the center are two pockets. Top pocket is 4" wide with a 2" flap. Pocket below is 6" long with no flap. On the left side towards the top is a 4" pocket. On the bottom left is a 6" pocket. At the end of each sleeve are two small gray buttons. The jacket is partially lined with a grayish-brown material with a satin finish. The inside of the sleeves is lined in a white fabric with a satin finish. Towards the top of the coat interior near the collar is a white label with blue text that reads, "BING CROSBY." On the inside right there is a 6" pocket. Below the pocket is a black patch with embroidered cursive white writing that reads, "Tony DeGrandis  /  INC." Around the patch is white stitching. The back of the jacket has a 12.5" slit. Jacket shoulders are padded.

The decanter shows a green leafy cypress tree at the back and a three dimensional figure of Bing Crosby at the center. The top of the ceramic tree can be removed to reveal a cork stopper. The figure of Crosby is positioned holding a golf club over his left shoulder. He is wearing a long sleeve blue-gray shirt and a blue-gray hat with a wide brim. He has a pipe in his mouth. There is a banner encircling the figure on the front side of the decanter which reads "39th BING'S NATIONAL PRO-AM 39th" in gold paint. The banner is white with gold lettering and trim. The base of the decanter is round with curved linear decoration,blue and green paint, and painted gold trim. In a gold trimmed oval at the front of the base text reads "An  /  American Tradition" in gold paint. Text around the base in white text on a green background reads "CYPRESS POINT - PEBBLE BEACH  -  SPYGLASS HILL." Molded into the bottom of the decanter is a six pointed leaf shaped logo with "asi" in the center. Also molded next to that is "(c) 1980". There is a black ink stamp with a rectangular border that reads "AN ARISTO-CRAFT CREATION  /  of  /  Aesthetic Specialties Inc.  /  None GENUINE without my signature  /  Charles A Wittwore [cursive script]  /  Charles A Wittwore." Also on the bottom is a gold adhesive label that reads "CONTAINER  /  MADE IN TAIWAN."

Bing Crosby in Hillsborough, 1965. Black and white negative of Bing Crosby outside of his home in Hillsborough, California. He wears a plaid sports coat and hat and carries a golf club. He stands in front of a a brick building with vines along the wall and a Ford Comet automobile. The Comet was the offical car of the Bing Crosby National Pro-Am Golf Championship. Photographer Norton Pearl notes that this was a publicity shot for the opening of Pebble Beach.
