Image of 1977.264 - Carriage Vase, c. 1927.  Vase is made of yellow-green glass. Is cylindrical in shape and tapers to a point, then expands to form a pyramid shape with a rounded tip at the very base of the vase. Cross-section is hexagonal in shape with rounded corners. An embossed floral motif featuring a flower with six petals and eight leaves is on each of the four wider sides. A series of embossed dots decorate the thin sides of the hexagon. There is an incised slit going across three sides of the hexagon above the flower, probably to help secure it. Above the flowers are two bands of embossed squares decorating the top. Above the bands is a raised, plain band. Between the square bands and the plain one is an oxidized piece of metal wire twisted around the body of the vase (probably used to secure it). Beyond the plain band is the opening of the vase. Opening is round in cross section and  has the shape of a short cylinder which tapers slightly to a curved lip.

Image of 2016.015.002.39 - Raychem Racing Team Jacket, c. late 1980s - early 1990s. This is a gray nylon jacket worn by Robert Halperin with custom red and white embroidery on the front and back. The jacket closes with a gray plastic zipper covered by a flap that has a single metal snap at top and bottom. A throat latch on the collar consists of a gray strap made from the same nylon material, which is held in place with five loops and has a double D-ring closure. Over the chest there is a vertical zipper pocket on the proper right side and a flap patch pocket with two metal snaps on the proper left side. A diagonal zipper pocket at right and left appear on the lower front sides of the jacket. A flap patch pocket with two metal snaps is attached on the upper portion of both arms. Gray ribbed trim appears on the cuffs of the jacket and around the majority of the jacket bottom except for a few inches in the front on both sides of the zipper. "BOB HALPERIN" is embroidered in red above the vertical zipper pocket on the proper right side. "Raychem Racing Team" with a stylized logo of wavy lines is embroidered at proper left above the pocket in red and white thread. The same text and logo appear in a larger size on the back of the jacket at center. Tags on the jacket consist of red embroidery on black fabric. A rectangular label sewn on the interior back lining reads, "Upstream Racing Division" with a logo of wavy parallel lines and at lower right a logo of "MJ" in a shield. A smaller tag sewn just below reads, "STYLE 23256S  /  L." At the collar, a ribbon tag reads, "MADE IN HONG KONG." A rectangular tag sewn just to the right has text on both sides. The top side reads, "SHELL: 100% NYLON  /  LINING: 100% NYLON  /  RIB: 100% ACRYLIC  /  WPL 8865  /  MADE IN HONG KONG  /  SEE BACK FOR CARE."  The bottom side of the tag reads, "MACHINE WASH GENTLE  /  CYCLE WARM. TUMBLE  /  DRY LOW WARM. WARM  /  IRON IF NECESSARY  /  DO NOT DRY CLEAN."
