The uniform has a collar at the top with a blue border creating a "V" line in the middle. There are stitched blue borders along the middle creating another "V" shape, along both of the shoulders, inside of the collar, both of the sides of the sleeves, and front and back of the uniform. In the front of the uniform, stitched on the right, there is a pocket with two separate parallel borders surrounding the opening of the pocket. On the inside of the uniform, in the middle, printed in white and bold, the text reads "OLM". Stitched on the side of the shoulder, rectangular in shape, blue background inside, stitched in white and bold, the text reads "U.S.S. Segundo". Below the badge above, rectangular in shape with white border and blue background inside with a gold anchor in the middle, stitched in white and bold, the text reads "NAVY LEAGUE  /  N  L  /  CADET CORPS". The text "N  L" is in between the golden anchor in the middle with the "N" on the left middle of the golden anchor and the "L" on the right middle of the golden anchor. Above the golden anchor, stitched in gold and in bold, the text reads "U  S". The text "U  S" is above the golden anchor with "U" on the top left of the golden anchor and the "S" on the top right of the golden anchor. Image of 1997.118.001 - Winchester Rifle Model 1894, August 21, 1894. This rifle was patented in August 21, 1894. The rifle is in brown with wooden stock, or handle on the end of the rifle with a brass/metal receiver, safety, trigger, trigger guard and barrel. Barrel is made of nickel steel. There is also a brass metal loop/ring connected to the side of the rifle just above the trigger and trigger guard. Engraved on the brass/metal receiver at the top with bold lettering, the text reads "MODEL 1894  / -WINCHESTER-  /  TRADEMARK".  The text "TRADEMARK" is smaller than the rest of the text above. Engraved on top of the bolt and rear sight of the rifle, in tiny and bold lettering, the text reads "MANUFACTURED BY THE WINCHESTER REPEATING ARMS CO.  /  NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. PATENTED AUGUST 21,1894". Below the text above and to the right, engraved also on top of the bolt and rear sight of the rifle, in tiny and bold lettering, the text reads "-- NICKEL STEEL BARREL--  /  ESPECIALLY FOR SMOKELESS BARREL". Next to the text above, in bold and medium lettering, the text reads "25-35 W.C.F".

Blocks are divided by 2.5" sashing on all sides except on the outer blocks along the longest outside edges.  Pieced edges are embroidered with various colors of feather stitching throughout.  Surrounding the blocks and sashing is a 6.5" border comprised of printed pink roses with green leaves on a black ground.  This fabric has been folded over to the back to create the binding.  Backing is comprised of two pieces of red fabric, a medium and dark red, with the seam extending down the center of the length of the fabric.  Back of feather stitching is only visible around the inner edge of the outside border.  Inner layer of fabric is white cotton.

Surrounding the blocks and sashing is a 6.5" border comprised of printed pink roses with green leaves on a black ground. This fabric has been folded over to the back to create the binding.
