Image of 1973.421 - 1904 Standard Light Park Drag is black and yellow in color.  Seventeen persons can be accomodated--four inside.  For picnics, provisions and wine are carried in special compartments at the rear of the coach.  A small wooden rack on the ceiling of the coach holds the horsewhip when the coach is not in use.  A collapsible ladder for roof access and an umbrella basket hang on the rear of the coach.  The coachman sits on the double cushion in the driving box.

Patterned after a French luxury vehicle and later used for public transportation (San Francisco's first stage is said to have been an old French omnibus).  Popular in transporting theatre-goers since the convenient access made it easy for ladies in long gowns to alight.  Has original glass and bell for the coachman.

Carriage has two large twelve-spoked wheels in back and two smaller ten-spoked wheels in front, all with solid black rubber tires.  Black carriage has red trim detail, including a monogram.  Front seat has cloth upholstered cushions.  Carriage has electrified Brewster & Co. lights on exterior sides of seats.  Lights are black painted metal with oval-shaped beveled glass front and side windows and a small round red glass window in back.  Fixtures have conical-shaped finials with bulbous bands beneath them.  They are mounted to carriage via a U-shaped black painted bracket and a cloth-covered electrical cord that extends out the bottom on one side.
