Scope & Content WWII Poster of a woman stitching up a man's pants, 1943. A poster in a white background with a woman in yellow dress and brown shoes standing behind a man in a red shirt and blue pants that the woman is stitching with her hands with a needlepoint and red yarn as the man is holding on to the handle of his lawnmower in one hand, and the plug for the lawnmower in the other. Next to the woman and man, there is basket with a tape measurer, scissors, more yarn, and other accessories. Above the figures in the middle of the poster, in red and in bold, there is some painted text that reads "USE IT UP - WEAR IT OUT - / MAKE IT DO!". Below the figures in the middle of the poster, painted in black and in bold, there is some text that says "OUR LABOR AND OUR GOODS ARE FIGHTING". Below the text above, in tiny font, the printed text reads "OWI Poster No. 39.
