Scope & Content Uncle Sam WWII Poster, 1943. Poster with a blue background of a man named Uncle Sam with white hair, goatee and a white hat with red and white stripes and white stars across a blue border with only his index finger from his hand raised up toward his mouth and one of his red and white stripes sleeves is showing. Above Uncle Sam is some painted text in bold and white that reads "I'M COUNTING ON YOU!". Below the red and white sleeve is some painted yellow text that looks like a signature reads "L Helquera". Below the picture of Uncle Sam, towards the right, is some painted text in bold that reads "DON'T DISCUSS: / TROOP MOVEMENTS / SHIP SAILINGS . / WAR EQUIPMENT". Below the poster toward the left hand corner, the printed text in small and regular font reads "OWI POSTER NO.78--20" X 28" Additional copies may be obtained upon request from the Division of Public Inquiries, Office of War Information, Washington, D.C."
